Dynamic or Dependent What-If parameter or Numeric Range
Hi,
I have a What-If Parameter, lets call it Machines.
Machines = GENERATESERIES(0, 20, 1)
I need a another parameter, or a range of values that can be used in a slicer based on the selected value of this parameter for the upper limit. Something like
Parameter = GENERATESERIES(0, [Machine Value], 1)
Does anyone know who to accomplish this?
I am not sure if I have azure data explorer?
However, I actually ended up using a different work around. I used this concept. Power BI - Filter by a Measure in a Slicer . Instead of using a second what if parameter, I mader a measure that is the same GenerateSeries, and put that into a slicer. Then put a visual filter on that slicer.
I think this is what parry2k was trying to suggest.

Gacohen unfortunately that is not possible, you cannot have 2nd parameter based on machine parameters. you can (i believe) you can use a visual level filter to filter your 2nd parameter.

parry2k is correct, however what you could do is create a live connection to a static numbers table stored in azure data explorer and pass in the parameter value to the query using dynamic parameters for power bi direct query.
Definitely a lot more effort but a way to do it.
