I have a measure with a dynamic format in order to display large numbers as follows:
It works as expected:
But sometimes it doesn't:
Adding the "blue" and "orange" technologies, which don't have any values in 2031 or 2032, affects the way the total is displayed for those 2 years.
The Display units for the Total labels are set to None.
Any ideas?
I was expecting that the Totals format would follow the dynamic format set for the measure. As technologies are added/removed the totals will increase/decrease and the setting the format to fixed millions or thousands may not make sense.
I also note that only some years the totals are formatted as currency. This only happens when I use a measure with Dynamic formatting.
Hi @lisam ,
You mentioned that the unit of display for the "Totals" tab is set to "None". While this applies to numeric values, it may affect how totals are displayed.
Consider explicitly specifying a unit (e.g., millions, billions) for the Total label to ensure consistency and clarity.
