Dynamic format %, Number, and Date
- 1 year ago
Hi RH205
Just a quick reminder that the engineer has already shared the recommended syntax for displaying dates in the dd-mm-yyyy format using the FORMAT() function in DAX.Example:
FormattedDate = FORMAT('YourTable'[DateColumn], "dd-mm-yyyy")If the dynamic format option still isn't reflecting this as expected,
feel free to share where you're applying it (e.g., card, matrix,) so we can assist further.
thanks, but this is not helping me. I read the documentation and used multiple formats, but it does not change..
Hi RH205
If you're using a measure or calculated column and want to display the date in dd-mm-yyyy format, use:
FormattedDate = FORMAT('YourTable'[DateColumn], "dd-mm-yyyy")
output Result = 12/15/2020 will be date column.
Hope it helps !!

Hi RH205
Just a quick reminder the provided recommended DAX syntax to format dates as dd-mm-yyyy using the FORMAT () function:
FormattedDate = FORMAT('YourTable'[DateColumn], "dd-mm-yyyy")
If it's still not displaying as expected, please let us know where you're applying it (e.g., card, matrix, etc.)so we can assist you further.
