Dynamic calculated column in Matrix Table
Hi
I am tryng to add a dynamic column in a Matrix table visual I need to show 'Up' arrow symbol if the number of tickets closed for current month is more than last month and 'Down' arrow symbol if the number of tickets closed for current month is less than last month for a particular description while keeping last 6 months data. The new column should be part of the below table and the arrows should be shown for each rows based on Jan and Dec numbers. It should automatically work for Feb and Jan when the report is viewed next month with the Feb month data.

hasarinfareeth you can easily use time intelligence function to compare current month value with the previous month. There are many time intelligence videos/posts on how to get previous month data. Once you have that calculation in place than you can use conditional formatting to show arrows.
As a best practice, add a date dimension in your model and use it for time intelligence calculations. Once the date dimension is added, mark it as a date table on table tools. Check the related videos on my YT channel

For your case, the field parameter solution is suitable. Please follow these steps:
- Create the two required measures.
- Open Power BI Desktop and navigate to the Modeling tab.
- Click on 'New Parameter (Field)' and select the two measures you created.
- Click 'OK' to automatically create a slicer.
- Finally, add the column from the table generated by the field parameter to your matrix visualization.
