Hi everyone,
I am trying to create a set of two slicers in Power Bi as follows: Slicer 1 - List of variables to select, Slicer 2 - based on the variables selected, show a slicer bar two select the value for those variables.
So far I have created the first slicer, and the second one is filtered based on that selection so that it will only displayed the variable/s selected on first slicer. However, the values appear as a dropdown list for each of the variables as shown below but I would need to create the slicer showing a bar.
Any ideas on how to do it?
Thanks in advance!
Laura
Hi @LauraBueno ,
Is this your expected result?
If so, you can try this customer slicer named 'Power Slicer' in Appsource.

hi @v-yingjl ,
Thank you for your message. Please see below what would be my expected result:
Depending on the variable selecter on slicer 1, there is a second slicer showing the values to select for that variable .
Thanks
best regards
Laura
Hi @LauraBueno ,
If you want to use the slicer with between type to achieve dynamic filter, I'm afraid it is not supported in power bi desktop currently.
You can only use the list type to filter the corresponding value based on each name, a range selection is not available.
Perhaps you can submit the requirement to ideas and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
