Dynamic X Axis

Hi,

I have this visual with me,

karthikbv4_0-1628577664837.png

I was wondering if its possible to have a range for the X axis based on a slicer.

Like if the User selects the range/interval as 500.

It should look like this:

(This above visual is built on a different tool, so kindly just look at the X axis)

Is this possible in any way? Thank you

Hi @Anonymous

Amit's point is correct. As for now Power BI doesn't support to change the values on axis dynamically according to user's selection on the report. The values are from a column while a column cannot be changed by user's interactions.

@Anonymous , You can have dynamic Segmentation/bucketing. But I doubt you can control the size of the bucket using the slicer

Hi,thanks for replying. I saw your article and I was wondering if its possible to use anything else, if not a slicer, because the range depends on the user's selection.

@Anonymous , As of now power Bi needs a column on Axis. And column can not take slicer value.

That is why I think what we can show is limited.

I even tried checking the bin option in visual, that is static too.

A doubt power bi allows measure on axis, like tableau does.
