I have created a power BI dashboard which is saved on a shared drive and is accessible by other people in the organisation. Everyone has access to the desktop version and can refresh it without any problems. However, I set up a text box with dynamic values and now when anyone other than me refreshes the dashboard the dynamic values in the text box change to the hide icon (an eye with a diagonal line through it). None of the other values in the entire dashboard are effected, the dynamic values in the text box are the same as values already in the dashboard. All the data sources come from web based sources.
How can I stop the hide icon appearing when someone else refreshes the dashboard?
Hi @DiDiliz ,
It's been a while since I heard back from you and I wanted to follow up. Have you had a chance to try the solutions that have been offered? If the issue has been resolved, can you mark the post as resolved? If you're still experiencing challenges, please feel free to let us know and we'll be happy to continue to help!
Looking forward to your reply!
Hi, I don't think that either of them really solve the problem. I have set up the dynamic text and it works fine, I don't have any issues with it. It's when someone else in the organisation opens the same file and refreshes the data that the hidden icons come up. So someone else will be looking at the exact same thing I am looking at.
