Dynamic Tooltip in Matrix
Hi all, I have a matrix with several columns, see example below:
| A | B | C | D | E | F | Pending | In Progress | Approved | Complete |
| xyz | |||||||||
Is it possible that when I hover over values in the 'Pending' column, to display the word 'Pending' in the tooltip and then xyz next to it? And then when you hover over values in the 'In Progress' column, the word 'In Progress' is now in the tooltip?

Yes, create a custom tooltip page and use that instead of the standard tooltip.

but the custom tooltip is table specific, not column specific.....how do i get a tooltip for each of the different columns?

Hi natasha519 ,
According to my study, now Power BI does not support the feature.
Maybe you can vote it here.

- You may create a Tooltip page for the Matrix visual, put [Description] and the specific measures ore columns into a visual of Tooltip page , then go to main report page, select the Format section and choose the Tooltip card you created
