Dynamic Text Box - Make Value Blank When Nothing Is Selected

Hi All,I've got a dynamic text box that updates with whatever selection is made in a slicer.&nbsp; My question is, is it possible to have the Dynamic Text Bo be blank until someone selects something in the slicer?&nbsp; Right now if nothing is selected in the slicer the dynamic text box will default to the the first item in the slicer.&nbsp;Thanks in advance!

The questioner was not looking to create a measure but to use the dynamic text feature which is not usefull if you are using a slicer where all values can be selected, the dynamic text will return the first value.&nbsp; Any better idea how to use this feature instead of creating a measure??

Yes. You don't have to define because the default is also blank.Term DefinitioncolumnNameThe name of an existing column, using standard DAX syntax. It cannot be an expression.alternateResult(Optional) The value returned when the context for columnName has been filtered down to zero or more than one distinct value. When not provided, the default value is BLANK().

There is no measure.&nbsp; It just pulls values from a column.
