I want to create a calculated table based on the value from a date slicer.
E.g. Master table has item wise daily sales (Date,ItemCode,Stock)
There is a date slicer (between) to select the period to show the daily item wise Stock on a graph. MaxSelectedDate is a measure which gets the last date of the slicer.
I want to create a calculated table with data only for the MaxSelectedDate item wise and it should change based on the slider movement. I cant just sum up the stock and show the value. Iwant to show the stock for the selected maxDate.
Is is possoble?
Values in a calculated table are fixed. But you may create measures as follows. It takes advantage of Show Categories With No Data.
MaxSelectedDate = CALCULATE ( MAX ( Table1[Date] ), ALLSELECTED ( Table1 ) )
Measure =
VAR d =
MAX ( Table1[Date] )
RETURN
IF ( d = [MaxSelectedDate], SUM ( Table1[Stock] ) )
Measure =
VAR d =
MAX ( Table1[Date] )
RETURN
IF ( d = [MaxSelectedDate], SUM ( Table1[Stock] ) )Hi is there anyway i can sneak in a group by in the above. So i can get the values item wise.
Use a Table visual instead.
I think the calculated table will not be dynamic.
