I have a matrix visualization where my supervisor would like the following:
1. See only high-level rows initially
2. Be able to expand rows to display subtypes
3. Not have to scroll to see the subtypes once they are expanded
4. Not have large white spaces when the data is collapsed.
Is it possible to dynamically resize the matrix visualization to do this?
Here is the problem a little more in-depth with pictures:
If I size the matrix when it is collapsed:
It looks fine here:
But when you expand it looks like this and is difficult to read easily without a bunch of scrolling:
If I size the matrix when it is expanded:
There are large blank spaces here which creates scrolling issues for the entire dashboard and lost of blank space:
And it looks fine when it is expanded:
Is there a way to resize this dynamically? Please let me know is there any way to do.
Thanks
Mahesh

Hi @7026328380 ,
It is not supported for Power BI currently.
You may consider to submit this idea.
In addition, you could try making the background transparent by disabling the background of the visual.
Best Regards,
Jay
