Dynamic Image with Card(New)
Nice day
Please I require your help to verify if it is possible to solve the following problem, you are doing the following measure to be able to have a dynamic image, which depending on the filter the image changes on a New Card:
when you configure it on the Card (New) and configure the image it does not display any even though it has the option to make it dynamic:
If I use an external plugin such as Image by cloud it does work but I want to use it with the new card since I can put colors in the background of the image:
I thank you for your cooperation.
Hi Syndicate_Admin - You're on the right track using dynamic image URLs with DAX and switching them based on slicer selection. However, the issue lies in the limitations of the new Power BI card visual — it does not currently support dynamic web image URLs the same way custom visuals .
You're currently using Image by CloudScope, which does render the URL properly and allows dynamic switching based on your PictureProcess measure. That’s the correct approach for now.
Use a colored rectangle shape or card visual as the background.
Overlay the Image by CloudScope visual on top (make background transparent).
Result: Looks like a colored background behind the image.
