I have image files(.jpeg) for 30 train stations are in sharepoint folder. I would like to display the station image based on station slicer.
I tried doing the excel sheet with Station name and image url and add into Power query and change the caregory as web URL.Neither pics are changing dynamically based on Station name selection in Desktop or in Power Bi service.
Even i asked the share poit Admin to provide the external access for that image folder, they are working on
Please guide me what i need to do for dynamic display of image.

Somehow the Issue is with Sharepoint, I will ask User to pull all image files in One drive.Right now the image filles are in Sharepoint folder.
Create a table with Station → Direct Image URL.
Mark the URL column as Image URL in Power BI.
Relate it to your Station table.
Use a slicer on Station → the image will change dynamically.
⚠️ Make sure SharePoint links are direct .jpg/.png links (publicly accessible), not folder/view links.
I tried thw way you mentionedat first instance,it did not work

Hi @LileeMohapatra ,
Can you please confirm whether the issue is sorted or not.
Thank you.
Hello @LileeMohapatra
Try these
Power BI, set your image column’s Data Category = Image URL (not Web URL).
Images only display if the link is publicly accessible without authentication.
SharePoint links usually need login → you must create a direct/public link (or host them in OneDrive/Azure/CDN).
Keep a mapping table (Station → Image URL) so the slicer filters the correct image.
If public links aren’t possible, use Base64 encoding or another hosting option.
Main issue your SharePoint links aren’t direct/public, so Power BI can’t render them dynamically.
Hi @LileeMohapatra ,
You refer that you change the category to WebURL however you need to change it to ImageURL to get the image.
Can you please check if you do that change that it works properly, if not can you please share the URL, please change the specific tenant charater by yyyyy so that you don't share confidential data of your company.

Making sure the images are accessible without authentication should be sufficient.
Within PowerBI, select the column in Model View > Advanced > Data Category > set it to Image URL.
If this is not helping, do let us know the exact error faced.
sorry, the image url option there, still its not working
