Dynamic Filter Selection Behavior in Power BI -Fiscal Year/Period
Hi ,
How can we make the filter selection behave like Qlik's functionality?
Is it possible to achieve the same behavior in Power BI filters?
For example, when Fiscal Year = 2026 and Fiscal Period = 07 and 08 are selected:
Calendar Year 2025 should automatically become selected/active, while all other calendar years are disabled (greyed out).
Month Jan and Feb as active m, while all other Month are greyed out.
If this can be implemented in Power BI? A sample Power BI file (.pbix) or example implementation would be greatly appreciated.
Hi ashmitp869,
Not Exactly the same but yes you can filter the calender date as per the selection from fiscal date and fiscal period using chiclet slicer custom visual.
I've attached a sample .pbix file for you.
