Dynamic Current Month vs Last Month Measure
I'm trying to create a measure that dynamically calculates current month vs last month values, so right now I'm always taking the MAX month selected (this is working) and comparing the previous month's value (even if just one month is selected in a filter). I tried using ALL on the filter conditions, but then it doesn't seem to have the context to change based on any filter conditions (I'm trying to create current vs last month by different categories and have it respond to filters). Is something like this possible, or would you always have to have at least 2 months selected in the filters?

Anonymous , Assume you have date table, Try meausres like
MTD =
var _max = if(isfiltered('Date'),MAX( 'Date'[Date]) , today())
var _min = eomonth(_max,-1)+1 ,
return
CALCULATE([net] ,DATESBETWEEN('Date'[Date],_min,_max))This Month =
var _max = eomonth(if(isfiltered('Date'),MAX( 'Date'[Date]) , today()),0)
var _min = eomonth(_max,-1)+1 ,
return
CALCULATE([net] ,DATESBETWEEN('Date'[Date],_min,_max))
LMTD =
var _max1 = if(isfiltered('Date'),MAX( 'Date'[Date]) , today())
var _max = date(Year(_max1), month(_max1)-1, day(_max))
var _min = eomonth(_max1,-2)+1
return
CALCULATE([net] ,DATESBETWEEN('Date'[Date],_min,_max))Last Month =
var _max1 = if(isfiltered('Date'),MAX( 'Date'[Date]) , today())
var _max = eomonth(_max1,-1)
var _min = eomonth(_max1,-2)+1
return
