Duplicate change column type

Hi

I have an existing table with multiple columns and I manually changed each column's type from Text to Fixed Decimal Number and Format to Decimal Number. I will be creating multiple tabs with same no. of columns and column names. Is there a way to avoid manually changing each column in each tab? I tried to go to Transform Data/Advanced Editor and copy the whole line starting with #"Change Type" and copying to the new table but it does not seem to work.

    Hi prothinker ,

     

    Based on my test, if we use Currency General format, the auto decimal point option will be still available.

     

    On the left pane under Current file, select Data load. On the right pane under Type detection, select whether you want to enable or disable type detection for the current file.

    Hey prothinker ,

     

    go to Power Query, select all the columns you want to change with pressed Ctrl or Shift key and then change all at once with the "Data type" option:

     

    This you only have to do once, then the data type is changed in the whole report

      Thanks. I managed to change the columns to Fixed Decimal Place. How do I change the Format from Currency to Decimal Number. I tried Rounding and selected 2 decimal place but it didn't work.
