Hi All,
I have a problem when I duplicate or replace values in a column within PowerBi and refresh I receive the below error
My data source is a sql DB and it is configured to import the data instead of direct connection.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Could you please check the verrsion of PowerBI? If it is not the latest one, please upgrade it. This problem occured in PowerBI of previous version, but this problem has been fixed in the later version, besides, I can't reproduce this problem in the latest version.
Best Regards,
Teige
Hi @TeigeGao I am on the latest powerbi version: 2.71.5523.821 64-bit (July 2019)
Hi @Anonymous I have removed all the relationships and still get the same error.
@Anonymous ,
I believe column you are replacing values is primary key and already has relationship with another table.
Remove the previous Table relationships if you don't need it.
If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
Hi @Anonymous
The column has no relationship to any other tables. I've also tried duplicating the column and receive the same error.
@Anonymous ,
Remove all relationships linked to this table or Reload same data with other name. Problem is due to Unique key either in the target column or another column. Please provide sample snap of data and relationship pane for RCA.
