Dublicated/Referenced query produce table with different number of rows

Hi there!

In Power Query Editor I have tried both to dublicate and reference a query in order to produce a new but identical table to work with in the Report view. However, I experience that the new table contains a different amount of rows than the table generated from the original query.

I have not been able to figure out why. Hope someone can help me understand this

Best regards

Hello @Caspe1010 ,

in the transform tab under the statistics, try to do this count in both just to double check

Hi @Idrissshatila

I get the following results when doing the counts.

 Original QueryReferenced Query
Count Value29982998
Count distinct values26442644

I assume the difference arise because I apply the counted value in one table and the distinct counted value in the other. Could that be true? And if so, how do I make sure to apply the same count in both?

Thanks!

Hello @Caspe1010 ,

I didn't understand the question, but the numbers looks the same then the tables are the same.
