From your screenshot, one row has cost total value 41 and the other has blank value. Which one is the row that has a trailing space?
In addition, as you have a Key Account Customer Name slicer in the report, can you check whether the two name options appear in the drop-down mode slicer in every example? Especially in Example 2?

Thanks for taking a look a this issue.
Regarding Example 2
- The value with the trailing space is the one with the amount. The blank value does not have a trailing space.
- The slicer does not show two “Freedom” Key Account Name values. It only displays one.
