Dual Purpose Button

Is there anyway to make a button so that it simultaneously sends you to a new page AND filters the results on that new page?

    HI cmckinney 

     

    Copy the same slicer on the second page and when you paste it select sync from the popup.

    and create link to the other page, So when you navigate to teh other page your selection in the first page is still preserved.

    Hi cmckinney ,

     

    you can use bookmarks for it. Click view than Bookmarks,

    after filtering your page click to add under bookmarks section. then create a button from shapes. open format and activate action button. choose bookmarks then bookmark name.
