Drillthrough using ony a selection of all filters

Hi all,

I am trying to find a way to create a drill down that only forwards a selection of filters to the drill down destination.

Example. I have the following base report

Vosje_0-1700234336982.png

Now, I would like to drilthrough on the orange bar with the value 3186 in it (a count of the number of customers with a zero difference in the  lower then 3500 rev category). My destination report should then show all results for the 3186 customers, but without also applying all the other filters like the revenue category, the pct difference, the month, etc.

Is there a way to do this that anyone of you knows of?

tx in advance, Rob

You can teach your users to remove individual drillthrough filters post factum.

You can also create shadow tables, and measures that transport the desired drilldown filters via TREATAS.

Thanks for your answer, since I am still quite new to PowerBI, is it possible that you provide me with some examples of how to solve it. I am totally new to Dax anyway, untill now only been using the gui in PowerBI.

I thought about a shadow table, what I tried was to first create a drillthrough page where I have a table with only the customers, and after that create a report on top of that one that gets the rest of the data. That did not work because the filters from the drillthrough apply to the whole page and not to only the first table.

Sorry to keep asking, am in a steep learning curve here..

Thanks in advance, Rob

ok, here goes.

I annonimized the data and just took 2 months or so. here's the link to the file: https://we.tl/t-c9vq4EYBxT

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Spread per category

2. Right click on, for instance, the blue 11 field, and choose click through.

3. Now the page with details differences opens and shows me the 11 entries. What it does however, is that it passes on all filters from the spread per category report.

4. What I need to have passed on are only the Debtor codes from the 11 entries, because I want to show, for those 11, all data available without any other filters.

Hope this helps and thanks for your time!

kr, Rob

That's a .PBIT  - it has no data.
