Drilldown Choropleth Gone???
SICcoding89 I'm thinking that the ultimate explanation of this comes down to this bug: WebView2 Update broke Appsource visuals rendering - Microsoft Fabric Community. That coupled with what seems like a relatively recent removal of the Drilldown Choropleth from AppSource. It was there November 2023 according to the Wayback Machine and still being referenced up until April 2024.
SICcoding89 Well, it's definitely gone: Microsoft AppSource
Better grab it quick from here: powerbi-visuals-drilldown-choropleth/README.md at master · microsoft/powerbi-visuals-drilldown-choropleth · GitHub
I'm sure the official answer is to use Azure Map visual instead. Create and use filled maps (choropleth maps) in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Greg_Deckler thanks for posting that link on GitHub. Can you point me in the right direction to download what I need from GitHub? Trying to move quick before it gone!!

SICcoding89 Sure, go here: GitHub - microsoft/powerbi-visuals-drilldown-choropleth: powerbi-visuals-drilldown-choropleth
That's the root instead of the readme. Then make these clicks:

Cool, I made it on the channel lol!!! When I opened in Desktop, the visuals show nothing so the setup is completly gone. I do remember how everything was setup so I can re-create. Where the visual was placed just registers as a blank visual. Deciding on re-creating the pbiviz file extension in VSC or moving to Azure since that is where things are going. Think I may try and recreate sinze Azure Maps isnt suported on the web curently.
Let me know if you post a video on creating the .pbiviz for this.

SICcoding89 Definitely going to make a video on custom visuals at some point. But, I also found a place where you can download the .pbiviz file: FileShare - Custom Visuals - FileView (sharepoint.com)

SICcoding89 I just made a video on this. I'd be interested if you download the PBIX files if you still get the option to automatically upgrade the maps to Azure Maps or if they are gone there as well.
