Drill through

Hi - I've got 2 tables (one with years and a total and one with countries breaking down that total)

I want to click on the total year bar chart and then display the country values for that year.

I've tried drill through but don't get the drillthrough option when I right click...please help!

I was making it too complicatd by having another table with totals when the countries table sum the values!

Getting there thanks

Anonymous have you create a hierarchy? not sure you can do that if they in separate tables, you need to tell it what to drill through to

layer the yearon top then drag the country under that in your field / column section

  I've tried a really simple set of data and can switch between countries Ok but can't go from the pie chart to the detailed bar chart...right click doesn't show the drill through option like in the tutorial. (I've got a latest version of software) - what am I missing here please?

    Anonymous i dont think im getting what you trying to do. you want to drill down to the country in which object? if you dont put the country in the object field you can't drill down to it, from what i can see you only have the year, and min of the value. You need to drag the country under the year
