Drill through with inactive relationship.

Hi all.

I need to drill through to another page using an inactive relationship.

The drill through page is just a table with no measures:

Received Date is active

and Finished Date is inactive:

I want to drill through using the Finished date.

currently it is drilling through by Received date as expected:

I'm drilling from a bar chart:

I'm drilling through by "Month Year".

The Main data has February dates.

How do I do that?

Many thanks for looking.

Hi @laganlee ,

By my test, can't realize until transforming the Main table like this.

Select Received Date and Finished Date at the same time and click "Unpivot Columns".

Then make relationship between the new date column and date column in the Date table.

Many thanks for that - that's a great idea.

Unfortunately my data is much more complicated than that, so any rearranging would be very difficult.

Looks like there's no solution, so I'll just change the relationships and hope for the best!
