Drill through option not available

Hi,

I have a page "item list" in my report from which I want to make a drill through to the "details" page. In item list, I have lots of ItemColorIDs. On the details page, I set the page type to "Drillthrough" and added ItemColorID to the "Drill through from" fields.

When I try to do the drill throught from item list to details, the drillthrouh option won't show up for the ItemColorIDs:

However, if I add another dimension in the item list and the drillthough filters of the details page, in this case "Level2_MainTeam", the option does show up for the ItemColorIDs:

As soon as I remove "Level2_MainTeam", the drill through option for ItemColorID disappears again, as seen in the first screenshot.

I don't understand this behaviour. Why does the appearance of the drill through option for ItemColorID depend on whether there is another dimension or not?

Drill-through in Power BI typically requires a specific data point to pass as a filter to the target page. When you are at the top level of a hierarchy, the data points are aggregated, and Power BI cannot determine a specific value to use for the drill-through. However, when you drill down to a more detailed level (even if it’s not the lowest level), Power BI can identify specific data points, making the drill-through option available.

After drill down, Power BI can identify specific data points. That's why you drill through appears after drill down.

Thanks @shafiz_p for your reply. Aggregation was kind of the problem it seems. The Summarization for ItemColorID was set to "Count" (I guess this was the default). As soon as I set it to "Don't summarize", deleted the field from the drill through filters of the details page and then added it again, the drill through option for ItemColorID on the item list page magically appeared.
