Drill through buttons do not appear to work if the field that is selected and chosen for the drill through comes from a slicer.. For example... I would like to choose a customer name from standard slicer as follows:
When I select this customer name, I have a drill through button that is supposed to become active when I select the customer name field.. it is does not become active, meaning it does not recognize that I have selected a customer name.
If, however, I instead select the customer name from a table:
The drill through button now becomes active and I can use it to drill through to the drill through page on that customer.
Why doesnt a slicer selection activate the drill through button, but the list selection does? Can I make the slicer activate the button?

No, that's not how slicers work. They are already a filter.
What you can do (and what you are basically doing) is have a table visual that is controlled by the slicer, and then drill through on the table visual once you have made your slicer selection.
Hi all,
I have same issue, except that i use a date slicer. When nothing is selected on the date slicer the drillthrough works perfectly well. I aslo see that it drillthroughs on all other years except for year 2023. What is the cause of this and how can it be fixed?
