Dear All,
I need to create two drill-throughs in Power BI. One is from Payments to Matters, and one is from Invoices to Matters. I made two instances of the matter table; one is linked to payments, and the other is related to invoices. (But they are the same table.) I want to create two drill-downs: if I call it from Invoices, it should drill down to the matter related to the invoice. If I call it from payments, it should drill down to the matter related to the payment. I want both to drill down to the same Matter page. I don't want two drill-down targets, one matter for Invoices and one for Payments. Can this be done? (Attached is a diagram of the setup.)
Hi there,
Im not sure I understood the use case in the dashboard itself, but shouldn't making all the realtionships bi-directional work?
The dashboard looks like the screen below. Payments and Invoices both contain the Matter ID. The problem is that one is from Matter, and the other is from Matter1. If, on the matters tab, I set the drill-down field to Matter ID from Matter, it will only drill down from Payments. If I set it to Matter ID from Matter 1, it will only drill-down from Invoices. I don't want to have two separate Matter tabs, I just one, that shows the values of the matter with a given Matter ID, irrespective of the source of the Matter ID. (I hope this made the issue a bit clearer... 😕 )
