Hi,
Is it possible to drill down the option in the Staked Column Chart respective selection?
I have used the Date hierarchy in the X-axis and Department value in the Y-axis.
When I select the year 2020 and department value as BI. then, I can see the irrespective of department value for the selected year.
I want to see next level of data should show only the selected year and department but the report does not show.
how do I handle it?
The report is available here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1S0m3f-FTpW27XzxvK4qtq5inau1_adhc/view?usp=drivesdk
thanks,
Ram
@Ramachandran If your date tables is already in the model please create hierarchy that includes Year, Quarter, Month. Add this date hierarchy on your stacked column chart on X-axis and the Department value on the Y-axis. After this in the visualization pane, you'll get the drill option, enable it for both the X-axis and Y-axis also, you can also enable Drill up to navigate back to higher levels.
After doing this you will see the next level of data.
Thanks for your comments...
I think you haven't checked my .pbix file.
Already, I created a date hierarchy and data is coming next level but it is not filtered out both department and year value. it is returned data irrespective of the department for the selected year.
for example, I selected the year 2020 and department BI but I'm getting all the departments for the next level. but I want to the selected department and year only in the next level of data. is it possible or not?
thanks,
Ram
