Drill down in matrix visual/ Move drill down as second column

Hi,

I am using the matrix visual to show actual metrics for a year across geography. I need the last year actuals to be shown before geography drill down. Is it possible with the matrix/table visual?

Thanks,

Mohan

Unfortunately, it's not possible as values always follow row fields in the current Matrix version, in Table visual, you can order the columns as you like however, you will lose the drill-down functionality.

Anonymous   what d do you mean before?  sitting at the higher level  or sitting in the column before?

if you drill down your data needs to support the grain you drilling down to in the data.   You could potentially replicate a value across but when you drill down you are going to a different grain in the data, might be better to use a different visual

I understand the granularity of the data will change. By "Before" I meant the column order to be as below

      "Actuals YTD-Previous Year" | "Actuals FTM-Previous Year"|"Zone"|"Region"(Geography drill down/hierarchy)|"Actuals FTM"|"Budget FTM"

Please let me know if there is way to arrange columns like this with hierarchy as 3rd column
