Drill down from Card on summary dashboard

Can I set up a summary dashboard with Cards, and be able to drill on each card to the detail of that total that is on a separate tab? I set something up but when I try to drill, only a message "To drill thorugh to Detail Flat Market Value Denominated, select a single data point from Calc Sum".  What i would like is to click the button and go to the page.

Based on my researh, it is unsupported to drill through on card visuals in Power BI currently. I'd like to suggest you vote for the idea in Idea Forum and add your comments there to improve Power BI for making this feature coming sooner.

Thank you for your reply, that information is very helpful, but for this request the client only wants a summary visual, such as a card, and then drill to nother report page which has the underlying detail.

OK, so are we talking about a report page or an actual Dashboard in the Service? Because people use the terms interchangeably quite a bit and it is confusing.

Second, I am not aware of a way to drillthrough on an actual Card visualization or multi-card visualization.

A Card dashboard tile by default clicking it will transport you to the page it came from although I believe you can change it to a URL of a specific page.

Thank you for your reply, the request is for a dashboard report page that woul dhave varios KPIs in the card format upon which one could drill through to the underlying data.
