Drill down feature on matrix, table visualization in Power BI Desktop

Hi All, Can we do the drill down feature on matrix ,table visualization in power bi desktop instead of Charts.   Regards, Narendra M

Hi Narendra,

 

No. We are not able to perform drill down action in a table or matrix visual.

 

The drill down feature needs hierarchies between fields. Because of the rendering mechanism of a table or matrix visual, those hierarchies can display completely when we drag those fields to a table or matrix. So we needn't to perform drill down action to see detail data.

Dear Qiuyun,

 

Will this feature be available soon? we are planning a migration of dashboards from another visualization tool, and this feature is a must, almost all reports make extensive use of table drill-down.
