Hi,
I wanted to know if there is an option to do a drill through from the total line of the table?
Thanks!

There isn't such an option. You may submit an idea via https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi.
My workaround is to turn the table into a matrix and then add a top-level group (eg if I my original first column was UK regions such as North, Central, South West etc, then I'd create a new first column called 'Country' and populate the rows with 'UK' or 'England' etc). I'll then add the +/- option in the matrix formatter so that when the matrix is collapsed to England/UK people can then drill through. I also ensure that my drill through page (usually a table of the entire dataset) has similar filters so that people can just use this page to get to the information they need - perhaps in combination with sync slicers. I'll vote up the option to drill through on the total line though as it's more convenient and intuitive.

Will do 🙂
Thanks!
Hello, if you submitted an idea to add drill through functionality to total lines can you add the link here? I would like to vote up your submission. I am having a hard time locating it on the Power BI community site.
Thank you!
My workaround to this is as follows:
I've got my table with a category column, a values column, and a total row. I can (as you know if you're reading this) drill though from each of the category's values, but not from the Total.
I copy that table, remove the categories and turn it into a simple Treemap, i.e. a single block of colour based on the Total. Users can then drillthrough from that to the appropriate page where the detail behind the Total will be.
Hope that's helpful to someone.
