Drill Through by one click

Hi Team,

Now drill through is available on right click. Can you please tell me how we can make drill through by "one click"or double click.

But we should not use right click.

Please suggest any work around

Thanks,

Balhemkan

Hi @Balhemkan ,

Now, You can set up a drill through button,it will be much easier for report consumers to see that they can drill through more details.

After you added a button to your canvas, there are a few properties you need to set in order to get this working.

  • Type of action, set this to Drill Through (Preview)
  • Destination, select the page you want the button to navigate to.
  • Enabled tooltip (optional): Hover over text if the button is enabled.
  • Disabled tooltip (optional): Hover over text if the button is disabled.

By default, the button is grayed-out, until you select an item in one of the other visuals. Based upon your selection, the button will be activated. My advice is to use the textual tooltips, so you can easily inform your report consumers what they need to do in order to activate the button.

To set up a drill through button, you will first need to have valid drill through page within your report. Then, you will need to create a button with Drill through as the action type and select the drill through page as the Destination.

Are you taking advantage of the new feature a few months ago to have Drilldown and Drillthrough available on hover for your visuals?  In that case, it becomes a single click.

Hi,

Is this option available to setp for the Visuals except Table or matrix? Beacuse i have tried enabling the feature, drillthough option directly comes for bar chart but not for the tabular view.

Thanks
