Dragging a field with values does not create the bars

Hi all,

i just dragged a field that has numerical values associated to it (i can see them under filter) but PowerBI won't get me a graph.

Sorry for the newbie question, im a Tableau user :)

I clicked on New Measure and use Count and picked the Revit Type from the list but... where does this measure show and i assume i have to drag it somewhere right?

    Sorry for all that

    Hi Anonymous,

The numbers will show up as numbers in the filters. But they can be in TEXT mode. Please check it out as the snapshot shows and change it to the numerical type. You will get a graph.

That sounded pretty darn easy but :)

Would the csv file help you?

        Hi Anonymous,

Yes, please upload the csv file if you can. Mask the private data first.

Did you try to change the type in the Query Editor? If they are decimal numbers, you can change them into decimal.
