Download report failure in Embedded report

Hi,

I am witnessing 2 weird things in my Power BI desktop report.

1) When I add a column from the tables into my visualisation (table view) , the column is getting added, however the moment I try to rename the column and hit enter, the visualisation is showing an error message (saying can't display the visual)  but If I keep the original column name , then there is no error.

2) When I embed the Power BI report into the application (a details dashboard, it is basically a summary data for each user, the table has around 100,000 records and 26 columns) the report is getting embedded but when I try to export the data, I am getting the below error message( snapshot). I am however able to download the data from Power BI service.

In the same embedded report, I do have other details report as well,  I am able to download them without any hiccups.

Both the above issues arise for the same details report. the same details report also takes a lot of time to just view the table / download the table.

I am sure that there is a limit of 150,000 records that we can download, is there a limit on the number of columns as well?

I cannot but help think its a performance issue( for both the above points). If it is so, can someone pls help me or guide to the follow the best practises to improve performance to view and download detail reports?

Also, is there a time latency to download in power BI or embedded reports, meaning if it takes too much time to download, the action will throw an error or something like that?

    Hi Ishaq

For the first question, after testing, when chaning the column name, it can also work

    After chaning the column name

You can try to remove the visual and recreate it again.

    Best Regards!
