Download or Copy Data from Data View
I’m using Import mode in Power BI Desktop. A few days ago, I was able to download/export the table as a dump, but for the last few days I’m unable to download or copy the table.
When I select the first column and try to Copy Table, nothing happens — the copy process doesn’t work at all.
Is this an internal issue, or has this feature been disabled due to a recent update?

Copying or exporting data directly from Data View in Power BI Desktop is not a supported or guaranteed feature, and recent Desktop updates have caused this behavior to stop working in some cases. That’s why nothing happens when you try to copy the table, even in Import mode. The recommended alternatives are to export data via Power Query, use a table visual with Export data, or use DAX Studio for reliable table dumps.

This can be an issue sometimes. You copy, paste and nothing happens. A more reliable way to export semantic model data is by using DAX Studio.
You can also try using the DAX Query view

I am able to export the table by clicking on the title of the first column and then Copy>Table in the November version of Power BI Desktop (not sure if the December version has disabled it). You could build a table visual using all the columns of the desired table and then export the data as csv (Click on three dots at top right and Export data, you should be fine for upto 30k records).

Press Ctrl +A (select all) or drag to select
Right-click → Copy Table
or use Ctrl C
If the table has many rows (e.g., millions), Desktop can silently fail — it doesn’t show an error, it just doesn’t copy.

This is likely a temporary bug or UI glitch rather than a disabled feature. The "Copy table" function from Data view can be unreliable after certain Power BI updates or with specific data types.
Power Query Export Method
In Power BI Desktop, go to Transform Data → Power Query Editor
Right-click on your table in the Queries pane (left side)
Select "Copy" → "Copy Data Table"
Paste directly into Excel or text editorPlease try from model view also. Select a column - right click - choose 'copy table'
