    Copying or exporting data directly from Data View in Power BI Desktop is not a supported or guaranteed feature, and recent Desktop updates have caused this behavior to stop working in some cases. That’s why nothing happens when you try to copy the table, even in Import mode. The recommended alternatives are to export data via Power Query, use a table visual with Export data, or use DAX Studio for reliable table dumps.

    This can be an issue sometimes. You copy, paste and nothing happens. A more reliable way to export semantic model data is by using DAX Studio. 

    You can also try using the DAX Query view

This is likely a temporary bug or UI glitch rather than a disabled feature. The "Copy table" function from Data view can be unreliable after certain Power BI updates or with specific data types.

 

Power Query Export Method
In Power BI Desktop, go to Transform Data → Power Query Editor
Right-click on your table in the Queries pane (left side)
Select "Copy" → "Copy Data Table"
Paste directly into Excel or text editor

 

Please try from model view also. Select a column - right click - choose 'copy table'
