Download data from URLs, display as data table in PBI

Hi PBI experts,

I would like to seek some guidance... I have a data table that has a column with list of URLs in it. If i click the URL, it directs me to save as Excel report to local machine. Is it possible to display each URL as data table from this excel report? OR extract data from that report and append it as new column in current data table (next to URL column)

Thank you!

Hi Jinny_le,

Did you ever get a solution to this problem, if yes, what approach did you use. Can you please share.

Thank you

Hi @jinny_le ,

I am afraid that you couldn't do it in Power BI currently.

However, you could come up a new idea about that and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.
