Hello,
a coworker has recently made changes to a report that require an update to view. When I attempt to open the report, I get an error saying that I must update my version to view the report.
I have downloaded the most recent version from this link: Download Microsoft Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center
however, when I open powerBI, it still prompts me to update to the latest version, and when I try to open the report, it gives me the same error I was previously encountering. I have tried restarting my machine and restarting powerBI but neither works.
I cannot update through the microsoft store, as my workspace admin priveleges do not allow microsoft store access at all.
