Don't recognize ODBC System-DSN
Dear Power BI community, For testing the Power BI Software, I want to connect a copy (before switching to the live one) of our operational-ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) which runs on Actian PSQL. We were able to connect it with Power BI through the Oracle database connector (ODBC). The system recognizes the User-DSN in Power BI, but doesn't with system-DSN (which is needed for Direct Querying, as far as I know). I've selected "get data", "other" and "ODBC" which brings me to a list where Amazon Redshift is the first option. When I place the ERP database server connection in User-DSN it recognizes the system, in system-DSN it will not recognize it. Do you know if it is possible to connect between Power BI and ODBC with Direct Querying? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

If the version of Oracle Database is at least above 12, you can directly connect to DB with Direct Query mode.
To enable direct query for an ODBC based connector, please refer to this document.

I followed and checked the steps in your link, but I couldn't solve the issue. ODBC runs on version 13.
Is an 64-bit connection required for all relational database sources? Our ERP-system runs on an 32-bit connection. In the example below it is the case for MySQL. Does it also applies to other relational databases? I've made a screenshot from the ODBC connector. "Gegevensbronbeheer" translates to data source control.
