Don't Summarize Confusion

Hi All,

Having issues with the Don't Summarize via Line Charts. I read the posts regarding this and I'm still confused on how it works - was hoping someone could explain to me:

I have sample data (an index):

MonthIndex 1Index 2
January 2021$1.00$1.05
February 2021$0.95$1.00
March 2021$0.80$1.20
April 2021$0.75$1.10

So in attempts to create a line chart for these two columns (decimal number data types) - I continue get "Count of Index 1". I don't have the summarize features on the arrow. But I did "Don't Summarize" on the model page.

Please help me clear this confusion.

Hi @JP_G ,
If I understand your question, please select don't summarize, and on the visual page with the down carot, choose min or max.  As there is only one value for each date, that does not matter.  This is what you should get.

What if there are more than one value for each date?
