Do not summarize Names

This is probably a simple question but I cannot figure it out. I want to map Sales revenue and in the tooltip have the sales rep name on display.

I have the Data Type set to text, and summarization set to "Don't Summarize" but when I click it in, it my option is to have all display as the name of the first rep on the list, the last, the total number of reps, or the count... but nothing that lets me display just what the text says.

HI @Anonymous,

According to your description, you drag the name column to tooltip field, right?
If this is a case, current tooltip field only support the summary type(first, last, count), you can switch summary mode to first or last to display the name.

I do not believe that these solutions answer the question. I am running into the same thing where I want to display the device name for different devices scattered on a map. When I place the Device Name in the Tooltips though, it changes to Last Device Name or First Device Name. I do not want the name of the first or last to be displayed on all data points as that makes no sense. I want the device name for each specific data point to be displayed as each point's unique tooltip. In other words, each tooltip should be different.

If I have three data points with device names of A, B, C respectively, data point A should show A, B should show B, and C should show C.

Please let me know how to accomplish this.

Thank you!
