Distinctcount on two columns

Hi there,

I got two columns in a table: id and date. I want to perform distinctcount on both columns. Is there any way of performing distinctcount on two columns?

If you want the measure to respect other filters you can use something like this.

Count Combinations =
COUNTROWS ( SUMMARIZE ( YourTable, YourTable[id], YourTable[date] ) )

Hey @Dunner2020 ,

the ALL function gives you back distinct combinations. These you can count then with the COUNTROWS function.

The following measure should work:

Amount distinct combinations = COUNTROWS( ALL( 'myTable'[id], 'myTable'[date] ) )

Let me know if that worked for you. If you need any help please let me know.

If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍

Best regards
Denis
