DistinctCount by month

I have a table and would like to see distinctcount of employee ID's by month.  I tried DistinctCount but it gave me the same values across all months.   Name Emp ID Dept Sub OT hours Month ...

    Hi, lab 
    Simply create a visual where you put months and ID of employes as DistincCount.
