Hello, I was seraching to see if this was already posted but could not find it. So apologies if this has already been asked. I have a slicer using my fiscal year date field, with the slicer being a date hierarchy with year and month. I was able to get the data updated so it does accurately reflect my fiscal year, which begins Oct 1 (Oct 1, 2023 is the start of FY24). So that is not my issue. The hierarchy accurate reflects my data by fiscal year and month. My issue is simply how the date hierarchy still displays the order of the months starting with January, rather than October (this is displayed under each fiscal year). I know if I create a calculated column I can customize the order of my months and then use that column in the slicer. However, then it won't be a date column and so it won't be able to be a date hierarchy, which I want to have. So, is there any way for me to have a date hierarchy slicer (with month and year) that displays the months in order of the FY, so under each FY year listed in the slicer, the months would be displayed in the following order: Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, etc.? Thanks in advance!

@mariaschmieder , I doubt that with Standard Date Hierarchy. You can create custom one

I usually do not use Automatic date hierarchy.
Hi @mariaschmieder
Find the solution https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/Date-Hierarchy-in-a-line-chart-Month-name-ordering...
Can you please create a MonthSort Lookup table?
Change Month Sort by column to SortOrder column
Create relationship with new table and date table with Month
Use the new table Month in visual and slicer
Change the visual or slicer sort by option by Month
If solved your requirement, please mark this answer as SOLUTION. Appreciate your KUDOS

Thank you! Just to confirm - this would not be a date hierarchy then correct? I did see that article you linked but I don't think that helps for me to have a date hierarchy slicer, correct?
Thanks so much for your expertise!

Okay, thank you so much! I wasn't sure if there was a more native way to do it. So, thank you for confirming this, and providing this best way to go about it. I will use this. Thank you!
