Display time in Y-axis
Hi guys,
I realize this question has probably been asked quite a few times before, but I am having a hard time using the range of answers to find a good solution. I would like to be able to visualize the 'average time spent on a page' in the y-axis, therefore it would have helped if there was a way to could convert the format to an integer that mimics the same time format (hh:mm:ss) or a decimal format. I am just getting starting of with Powerbi and I am a bit lost on the workarounds for what I thought would be quite simple tasks. I would like to be able to display the data as is (the data inside the columns are just an example, not the real data) in my visualization model, however that is not possible when the column 'Avg. Time on Page' is in time format - if I try to convert it to anything else, it messes up the data. Is there any way this can be done?
Many thanks,
G.

Hi gpillai,
AFAIK, power bi still not support use time duration type on axis.
I'd like to suggest you convert it to numeric type to use on axis.
BTW, you can also submit an idea for add support with time duration type.

Hi Xiaoxin,
Many thanks for your reply - I was hoping the situation would have changed by now, since many members requested this change for quite some time. Also, this is a vital feature for our metrics, therefore this might be a deal-breaker for us .
Many thanks again for your help.

Is the development for Y axis as Time continuous variable complete over. I have specific use case which requires Lapsed Duration on Y axis .
