Hi,
I have a sample data like this:
Name | Location | Sales achieved |
Ali | Arizona | 20,000 |
Mary | Tennessee | 50,000 |
Jacky | Work from home | 10,000 |
I would like to display the "Sales achieved" data in a map. I will create 2 calculated columns for longitude and latitude so that I can display it as a map.
The problem is I have a row in "Location" column that is not location data. Is map is a better choice of visualization? If I would like to use map how should I display the "Work from home" data?
@alvin199 , if these locations are cities or locations you can use them. You can also set a data category in the column tool to help power bi to understand the field
