Yeah, but my dataset refreshes midday so it would be nice to have it showing the day before the current day.. if that makes sense

    Have you tried to set "Relative date" as "is in the last 1 days"?

     

    In addition, please pay attention to timezone between your local datetime and Power BI Service. When you publish a report to the Power BI Service, the Power BI server’s date and time is based on UTC, and it might be different from your local timezone.
