Display grid in a line chart

Hello,

Please see image that was taken from another system.

1. How can I add and control, on the Y-Axis, the steps between the main steps?

2. How can I display the grid in the chart?

Thank you,

Tamir

In my use case, I also rely on the features of the error bars. Achieving those features in Python/R would require greater skill than I currently have.

My approach was adding reference lines with increments of 0.1.

I use dynamic MIN/MAX to calculate the number of lines required.

Thank you for the time to answer,

  • Hi tamiribas -

Q1: Start and End: You can set custom values for the Start and End of the Y-Axis to control the range of data displayed.

Q2:In Line chart, you can display the horizonal gridlines as shown in format pane. there is no vertical gridlines that there needs to be some aggregation of the X-axis to have vertical gridlines. Like Date or number.

    Hope it helps!

These format options prevent dynamic adjustment of the Y axis, therefore it cannot be used.

I am looking for a dynamic way to add 4 secondary ticks between the major ticks.

    Thanks,

    Tamir

      Hi All
Firstly  rajendraongole1 thank you for your solution!
And tamiribas ,Unfortunately, due to the limitations of the product, it is difficult to dynamically add this moment value in normal visual objects, here are some alternatives that I can do to help you out.
We open the Zoom slider in the VISUAL setting of the line graph and show the scale that needs to be primary to compare the two visual objects.

If you need to, you can try to use Python visual objects with R language visual objects to implement the need to custom add subscale values.

I hope my answer was helpful and I would be honoured if I could solve your problem!

      Hope it helps!
