Display dynamic values next to data labels in Sunburst

Hi folks, Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I'm struggling with setting up my Sunburst. I've got everything set up except that I can't figure out how to display values next to the data labels and have those values change when the user adjusts the data sliders.

 

I tried adjusting the category's column in the query to include the value but that figure doesn't change with the slider.

 

I'm hoping someone can help me with a Dax formula which will provide the category name as well as a countif function which I can use in my sunburst?

    After re-reading my original post, I realized that I wasn't clear in my question. I've managed to add the values to the sunburst below (values are blanked out in the screenshot) but the values don't change when I adjust the date sliders. I'm hoping someone out there can help me figure out out to have the values change with the slider.
